A Call to Action. . . Awake to Righteousness

About the event

This call to action will equip you with very practical applications on how you personally can affect your community for good by upholding Godly principles, standards,  and preserving the constitution our Country was founded on.

Hear keynote speakers Matt Trewhella, Marcus Schroeder, Pastor Ken Stolar and Gene Schmidt.

Matt Trewhella: In addition to being pastor of Mercy Seat Christian Church (founded in 1989) in the Milwaukee, WI area, Pastor Trewhella is also founder of the pro-life organization Missionaries to the Preborn, author of the book The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates: A Proper Resistance to Tyranny and a Repudiation of Unlimited Obedience to Civil Government, and lectures frequently on righteous resistance and the lesser magistrate doctrine.

Pastor Trewhella has been a passionate leader and laborer within the body of Christ since his conversion at age 17 in the inner city of Detroit. His integrity and innovative leadership within the pro-life movement [and now within the abolitionist movement] have inspired a generation to “love their neighbor as themselves”.

Though much maligned in the liberal media for his effective pro-life work, Pastor Trewhella’s reputation as a man of principle and great courage shine brightly to a generation so desperately in need of godly leadership. He and his wife Clara live in the Milwaukee, WI area. They have eleven children.

Marcus Schroeder as featured in the Washington Stand, " Late last month in Watertown, Wisconsin, a drag queen event for families attracted attention for including the “opportunity” for children to dance with drag queens. Performers dressed in lingerie and danced sexually suggestive dances in front of little children, who were invited to give them one-dollar bills.

Outside of the event, on a public sidewalk, a 19-year-old Christian, Marcus Schroeder, was reading from the Bible’s Galatians 5, “But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Following orders from city leaders, local police arrested several people. But they didn’t arrest drag queens for dancing in front of and luring children. Instead, they arrested the Christians who were reading Scripture, praying, and sharing the truth in love.

Pastor Ken Stolar: Pastor of Christian Life Family Church in Watertown Wisconsin for over 30 years as well as Business Owner, Evangelist, and musician.  Ken has a timely message for the church in general which will compel you to action.  His call to admonish us to Contend for the Faith and Awake to Righteousness has the ability to change your faith, your home, your family, your community, and your state for Jesus Christ. Ken and his wife Sarana have 8 children and reside in Watertown.

Gene Schmidt: Singer, Songwriter, Musician, Evangelist and homeless whisperer.  Gene has written hundreds of songs to equip, inspire, and motivate the listener.  Gene is the President of Adoration Abode, a local non-profit organization that has two Men's Transitional Housing Shelters in Watertown as well as a Geno's Food Pantry distributing approximately 10,000lbs of food per week.  When local strip clubs were sex trafficking women, Gene established the Christian Leader's Coalition to rally the troops to protect our community and raise awareness.  The former strip club in Clyman is now under the ownership of Adoration Abode which has been made into a local Community Event Center.  Gene and his wife Anne have recorded many albums and travel with their music minsitry. They have 3 grown AirForce sons and 4 grandchildren.
